This has a lot going for it: lineplay, black vs white fight, balance of forms, and the decisive moment (anywhere else on the stairs would not have worked), and luck (holding hands during said moment). Very nice craftwork. As I write this comment, each time I’ve glanced up at the photograph I ‘ve been pulled in again.
