Shut Up & Listen 2024: Molly Maher Trio

I search and shoot out the passenger window

at our split Union

as the oppressive orderliness

yields to liberating disorderliness.

Still I search and shoot.

Once I caught a glimpse

but whatever it was is gone.

So easy to get lost

in the mythology

yet I arrive

and follow the path.

The stage there is set

with plans

and tools, which wait

as the Master of Ceremonies welcomes us

to his front lawn

and delves into a song.
